Yiping obtained her first M.S. degree in Public Health Nutrition at Case Western Reserve University. After the completion of graduate study, she worked for Sodexo as a Clinical Registered Dietitian for 16 months. Yiping joined USC in 2021 and started her second graduate journey towards epidemiology. Her current research is focusing on the association between ultra-processed food and obesity and type 2 diabetes among the youth.
