Developmental Exposure to Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals and Child Health

Untitled-Project- (1)

Our group works with large cohort data to explore the role of multiple exposure types on child health. We are interested in the affects of early- and lifetime-exposure to persistent organic pollutants, air pollutants, heavy metals, and endocrine disruptors. The lab also studies exposure interactions with nutrition and multi-omic measures.

Our aim is to understand how these exposures and interactions impact child health, especially metabolic health including type 2 diabetes, obesity, and fatty liver disease.
